Amazing selection. Wonderful prices. Everything fresh Even has imported pasta items and other ethnic foods that are hard to find.

Lenny's Penny's produce stand has been a staple in my neighborhood for quite some time. While their offerings can be hit or miss, the affordability makes up for it. Don't expect top-tier produce, but if you're looking for budget-friendly options, this is your spot. Just remember to consume your purchases within a few days. The staff are incredibly kind, which adds to the charm. I visit weekly for our household staples like tomatoes and cucumbers, and I also buy dill here since it's much cheaper than at grocery stores. The store is quaint and not huge but it does the trick.

Not your whole foods or sprouts but a convenient cheap and quick grocery store. Had stopped by after grabbing lunch to check out a few things and they have deals that not even Chinatown can compare to. We found sriracha at pre shortage prices and a bunch of fresh good fruit. Would highly recommend coming back for some basic pantry staples and in season items.

Great spot! I needed banana leaves and they were one of the few in the city. I've driven past 1000x, but after the great service and produce that we enjoyed, we'll be back soon!

This is your local small business grocery, with fresh fruit, vegetables, and a great (small) selection of ethnic (Asian, Russian, Mediterranean) food. While the pantry staples are pretty consistent, the fresh foods do change, in particular the fruit. To be fair, they may not have the wide selection of all fruits, but what they do have is generally what's in season. Don't expected much organic, which sometimes they do have... but do expect the conventional food selection to be basically rock bottom pricing. The ambiance is not Whole Foods, but just clean shelves, lots of essentials, and great prices. The service is good, assuming you need help, and the check stand workers are friendly and fast moving. Exactly what you want for a grocery store. ProTip: As of today's review, I recall Debit is minimum is $5, and Credit is $10... otherwise bring cash. Look, this place may not have all your organic, gluten free, free range stuff... but if you are just needing fresh groceries at a good price... with an slightly ever changing selection, then come here, and spend a little for a lot.

Lenny's where have you been all my life? Oh, yeah, on Greenwood & 105th. Seriously, I've been driving past this place for years but hadn't gone in until today. So glad I did. Wonderful fruit & veggie market-- with a good assortment of asian fruits, international condiments and goodies. Those beautiful asian eggplants in the photo were 99 cents a pound!

I love having this place in the neighborhood to get all my Asian staples. The only key ingredient I haven't been able to find here is miso. Some of my past Asian groceries here include: curry paste, fish sauce, mochiko flour, and coconut milk. Their produce is also very reasonably priced. Sometimes I find fruits and veggies that are more than half off of what I'd pay at Fred Meyer. Examples: honeycrisp apples, Chinese eggplant, napa cabbage, mangos, lemons, and limes.

Excellent produce at a great price. During this winters snow storm, Lenny's was my saving grace! I was unable to get my car out and get to the store. Lenny's was open and super convenient, they had lots of fresh produce I was able to make some delicious Tom Kha, some salads, and have fresh fruit for breakfast. I really enjoy walking the store to see what new treasures I can find, and get ideas for recipes to make at home.

Having passed by this place for YEARS.....I finally had the chance to check out this cute lil shop at the recommendation of my mom. If you're looking for reasonably priced fruit/produce/Asian spices and sauces, Lenny's is a perfect one stop for all. With a wide selection of various Asian items (Thai, Viet, Chinese, etc) + Mexican pastries and other odds and ends, you can definitely find something to eat/use. Overall, the store itself is pretty small but well organized. I enjoyed shopping here a lot since it's pretty easy to find stuff and oh boy.....The prices are pretty competitive compared to nearby stores. In addition, the quality of the fruits and produce is pretty great. In gist - Highly recommend checking out this store if you're in a hurry to shop or want to check something out. :)
